The Houston family invites you to enjoy a few hours or a few hours more on one of their beautiful trail rides or in one of their horsemanship classes. Our ranch is located on the east side of Tucson in the serene Tanque Verde Valley surrounded by old mesquite trees. Access to miles and miles of trails into the Sonoran Desert are readily available.

Rides
Scenic trail rides into the Sonoran Desert on well trained horses. Beginners and advanced riders are welcome. Trail rides last 2 hours (longer or shorter on request) and are $ 50/person. Reservations are required. |

Riding
Lessons for Kids and
Adults
Lessons are offered during the school year and are $ 25 for a 1.5 hour lesson. Children will be grouped considering skill levels. Classes include basic horsemanship. If you need to cancel or postpone a lesson, notice must be given to qualify for a make-up lesson.

Timed Event Lessons Timed event lessons in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and other gymkhana events are offered. These lessons are only available if you have your own horse. Lessons are held during the school year and are $ 25 for a 1.5 hour lesson. |

| Horse Camps
These are 4 hour classes over 4 days. Basic horsemanship is being taught in conjunction with a daily trail ride into the Sonoran Desert. Camps are especially designed for children and run during summer and winter vacation.
